Eighth-Grade Pin Ceremony Details
All parents and families are invited to attend this formal presentation of the graduating class. Each eighth-grade student writes and delivers a speech reflecting on his or her years at St. Jeanne’s. Pins and floral arrangements are paid for by the graduation fee. All parents should submit a “toddler” picture by May 1 to Mrs. Yorba for the Pin Ceremony slide show.
Dress Code: Eighth-graders wear full uniform including school tie. Girls should make sure their skirts are in compliance with the uniform code. Boys should make sure their haircuts are in compliance with the haircut code. Sweaters and pants should be free of holes.
Committee Duties: Create and distribute formal invitations to each eighth-grade family 3-4 weeks prior to the event. Utilizing decorations already available and perhaps adding some additional items that maybe needed, decorate the stage for the Pin Ceremony. Includes the front of the stage, podiums, and Class of ___ sign.
Budget: $ One large floral arrangement Any costs incurred above and beyond your budgeted amount will be considered a generous donation. Please submit all receipts for reimbursement, clearly labeled with your name and committee/event, to Mrs. Yorba.
