Spiritual Enrichment

Spiritual Enrichment

Rooted in the call to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly, our Christian Service Program forms students to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Guided by the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching, our families serve generously—supporting those in need, partnering with Catholic Charities, and living faith through action.

Lancers Care

Lancers Care Service Projects

Lancers Care is a vital part of the Religion curriculum at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, forming students to live their faith through service in the example of Jesus Christ. Each grade adopts an age-appropriate service theme and charity, engaging in hands-on projects or service experiences. Through reflection, learning, and outreach, students grow in compassion, empathy, and a commitment to “extend their hands” to those in need—developing hearts for service and leadership grounded in faith.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers

The Altar Server Ministry at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School invites students in grades 4–8 to assist the priest in the sacred liturgy, growing in reverence and service. Trained to support school Masses and encouraged to serve in their home parishes, students deepen their faith through active participation. As affirmed by Pope Francis, this ministry not only honors God but also forms in students virtues and habits that shape their character and identity as faithful Christian leaders.

Saint Thomas More Church

Saint Thomas More Church

While families may choose from many Catholic parishes as their spiritual home, Saint Thomas More Catholic Church is where the majority of our school families worship. Located a short distance from Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac, we warmly encourage all families to actively participate in parish life, embracing their role as the primary spiritual leaders within their homes.

At a Glance

Campus Ministry holds a vital place at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School because it ensures that faith is not simply taught, but truly lived. Inspired by the charism of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac and the mission of the Company of Mary, Campus Ministry nurtures the spiritual formation of each student, guiding them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while growing in virtue, compassion, and purpose.

Through prayer experiences, liturgical celebrations, service opportunities, and moments of reflection, students are invited to encounter God in meaningful and age-appropriate ways. Campus Ministry helps students recognize that their faith is not separate from their daily lives—it shapes how they learn, how they treat others, and how they respond to challenges. In this way, it forms not only strong students, but faithful disciples.

Equally important, Campus Ministry builds a sense of community rooted in Gospel values. It brings students, faculty, and families together in shared mission, encouraging a spirit of unity, service, and stewardship. By engaging in acts of charity and outreach, students learn the importance of serving others with humility and love, embodying the call to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

Ultimately, Campus Ministry is essential because it keeps the heart of the school centered on its Catholic identity. It ensures that every program, relationship, and experience is grounded in faith, forming young people who are not only academically prepared, but spiritually grounded and committed to living lives of meaning, service, and holiness.
