Week of April 28 - May 2
A Prayer for a Blessed Week After Easter
As we continue to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection, we offer this prayer for our school community:
Risen Lord,
Thank You for the gift of Easter and the promise of new life.
As we begin this week, help us to carry the hope and joy of Your resurrection into all that we do.
Bless our students, families, and staff with peace, purpose, and a renewed spirit.
May our hearts be open to Your love, and may our actions reflect the light of Christ in our school and beyond.
Amen.
Wishing all of our families a joyful and blessed week!

As we wrap up our Lenten season, we kindly remind you to return your child's Rice Bowl donation box to the front office as soon as possible. Your generous contributions support those in need and make a meaningful difference in our global community.
Thank you for your continued support and compassion!
Pope Francis

We mourn the loss of our beloved Pope Francis, who called us to be bearers of mercy to all peoples. To quote Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re at the funeral: “Pope Francis always placed the Gospel of mercy at the center, repeatedly emphasizing that God never tires of forgiving us. He always forgives, whatever the situation might be of the person who asks for forgiveness and returns to the right path.” May Pope Francis rest in peace, and may we follow in his footsteps.
The entire Church mourns the death of the Holy Father, Pope Francis. In cathedrals, basilicas, parish churches, shrines, and chapels the Holy Eucharist will be offered for the repose of his soul. Communities and individuals will ask God to bestow his infinite mercy on the man who served the Church as Bishop of Rome.
This novena has been prepared to help pray for the Pope during the time of mourning. The daily novena – lasting for the novendiales period from April 26 to May 4, 2025 – consists of a short reading from Scripture or some other ecclesiastical text and some brief prayers, including orations drawn from the Roman Missal and the Order of Christian Funerals.
