Week of March 4

Friends Forgive

Dear Lord,

We come before You with grateful hearts, recognizing Your infinite mercy and forgiveness. Your word teaches us the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation, reminding us that as we forgive others, so too shall we be forgiven.

We are inspired by the example of Jesus Christ, who showed boundless love and compassion even to those who betrayed and hurt Him. Help us to follow in His footsteps, extending forgiveness to those who have wronged us, just as You have forgiven us.

Grant us the grace to let go of bitterness and resentment, and to embrace the healing power of reconciliation. May we be instruments of Your peace, fostering unity and harmony among our friends and loved ones.

We pray for the strength to forgive those who have wronged us, knowing that in doing so, we reflect Your love and mercy. May our relationships be marked by forgiveness and understanding, as we strive to follow Your commandment to love one another as You have loved us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lent Image Week 3

Lord, Lent is a challenging time, and we will not pretend that it isn’t. However, you did not expect anything of us to which you were unwilling to subject yourself.

Your own time of trial in the desert set the standard for how to resist temptation and remain steadfast as we form our hearts to God’s will. Help us to grow steadily closer to you as we embrace the virtues of faith, hope, and love during Lent.

Encourage us along as we walk with you, reminding us that Lent is far from a time to simply “give something up;” rather, to take on small sacrifices, which in no way compare to the supreme sacrifice that you offered by giving your life on the Cross in atonement for our sins.

Strengthen us to persevere in holiness, virtue, and sanctity, seeking to do your will not only during Lent, but likewise throughout the year, as we look forward to celebrating your joyous Resurrection at Easter. We ask this in your redemptive name. Amen.

Class of 2025 Service Project

We are proud of the Seventh-grade students and family members who joined almost 100 volunteers Saturday morning cleaning the beach in San Clemente. Our groups collective efforts produced over 150 pounds of trash removal. Thank you students and parents for your efforts in helping beautify God's creation.

LANCER ATHLETICS SPONSORHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We are excited to present opportunities for SJDL families or local businesses to become an active sponsor of our Lancer Athletics Program. This Sponsorship program will be based on a first come first serve basis, meaning that the sooner you or your company would like to sponsor any of the options provided in the link above the quicker we can lock in your company/business brand. We are excited to partner with Fire Wings Restaurant who have graciously sponsored our Boys and Girls Basketball Uniforms for the coming season, however, there are many other opportunites for your company/buisness.

A perennial power in the Parochial Athletic League, the athletic program at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School, focuses on character building through competitive athletics. Committed to tradition, the school’s Student Learning Expectations, and a powerful Mission Statement, our coaches, who are also Company of Mary educators, expect the highest levels of behavior, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship from all of the student-athletes in every level and sport. As the largest year-long program with hundreds of students participating, success is not measured solely on what the scoreboard shows, end of season records, or championships, but a “team” concept built around Catholic-Christian values.

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Lancer pride is an integral part of the legacy of success in athletics on all levels and continues to promote that same success in life and for life.
