Beginning of the year wrap up

Beginning of the year wrap up

In this unit, the children grow in appreciation for the five senses God has giving them. In the process, they learned that they are to listen to Jesus, that God speaks to them in the Bible, and that God loves. We gave thanks to God for our gifts.

We finished our ”Beginning the Year” unit from our Creative Curriculum with ”The Gingerbread Boy” flannel story. In this unit, our Little Lancers shared their feelings when their parents drop them off at school, when they are happy and when they are sad. They learned about our daily schedule, they learned about people who work at school. We talked about different noises in our school and where are they coming from.  We shared ideas on how to make friends, be kind to each other, respectful and listen to each others voices. It's been fun to get to know each other, and we can't wait for Monday to start our study on Trees and ”God Made Me Good” unit for religion.
