Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School
Halloween Costume Day (No Parade)
This year, students will be able to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume, but unfortunately we will not be able to host our annual all school parade. The Halloween Costume day will be on Friday, October 30. This is also a Minimum Half-Day - Noon Dismissal day with Extended Care available.
As parents and students plan costumes, please keep the following in mind regarding the policies of the school:
- No violent/gory or excessively scary costumes and/or make-up allowed.
- No toy weapons, weaponry, toys that might give the impression of a weapon, etc.
- No risqué, inappropriate, revealing or “cross dressing” type of costume.
We encourage students to plan their costumes so that they will be comfortable, have fun and adhere to the school’s values and mission. Thank you for taking appropriate steps in advance to discuss costume choices as the primary educator of your child(ren).
If you have any questions regarding costume guidelines, please contact Sr. Cecilia as soon as possible (e.g. take a picture and send it to Sister for approval).
