First Sunday of Advent
Begin your Advent journey by blessing your Advent wreath. Light the first violet candle and sing “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”
Advent is a beautiful season of the year and an excellent time for families to discuss Christian beliefs and values, their faith, and Jesus’ return. The word, “advent”, simply means “coming”. In the context of the Christian faith, it represents our celebration of the first coming of Christ and our anticipation of his second coming. The birth of the Messiah was promised in the Old Testament and was anticipated by God’s people for a very long time.

A few guidelines for "shopping" in the Clothes Closet:
- Open on the First Monday of each month at 7:30am, or contact Mrs. Nguyen ([email protected]) or Mrs. Adams ([email protected])
- A maximum of 4 shoppers are allowed inside the Closet. We ask that you line up at the door and enter as someone exits.
