Week of May 29

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O God, who have taught the hearts of the faithful
by the light of the Holy Spirit,
grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever rejoice in his consolation.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

A painting on the ceiling of St. Catherine Church in Spring Lake, New Jersey, depicts the Holy Spirit descending upon the apostles.

I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the Lord.
But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.

Praise the Lord, my soul.

Praise the Lord.

Psalm 104: 33-35

"How manifold are your works, O Lord! The earth is full of your creatures!" This is our Pentecost song.

As we pray Psalm 104, we celebrate all of creation as a revelation of God's very being. In "Laudato Si', on Care for Our Common Home," Pope Francis tells us, "From the beginning of the world ... the mystery of Christ is at work ... in the natural world as a whole." Read more...

After School Safety

Please note that ALL students will need to remain with parents and NOT playing unattended on the playground or on playground equipment after school. We understand that the Library Center does not open until 3:15pm, however, children will need to remain with their parent while waiting. We want to ensure the safety and accountability of all children at all times. We encourage parents to wait, with their child(ren), in front of the Library Center until the doors are opened after pick-up dismissal.

Thank you for your understanding and support regarding this safety policy.

We will recognize all of the student/athletes at the Eighth Grade Brunch and the End of Year Recognition Assembly on Friday, June 9.

A perennial power in the Parochial Athletic League, the athletic program at Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School, focuses on character building through competitive athletics. Committed to tradition, the school’s Student Learning Expectations, and a powerful Mission Statement, our coaches, who are also Company of Mary educators, expect the highest levels of behavior, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship from all of the student-athletes in every level and sport. As the largest year-long program with hundreds of students participating, success is not measured solely on what the scoreboard shows, end of season records, or championships, but a “team” concept built around Catholic-Christian values.

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Lancer pride is an integral part of the legacy of success in athletics on all levels and continues to promote that same success in life and for life.

Home & School Association

The Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Home and School Association is an organization of parents who have chosen to participate more fully in the service of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac School by organizing fundraising activities, and by providing funds that directly benefit the students, faculty, the general plant, and equipment. The Home & School Association is instrumental in achieving the undertakings of the school with the support of our friends, parents and the local community.
