We are proud of the efforts all of our teachers have displayed during our Remote Learning and the "Next Normal" of educating students. We are also so blessed to have our supportive parents who continue to encourage their children and help them in their adjustments to leanring outside of the traditional classroom setting.
Receiving more 4s and 5s as well as fewer 1s and 2s on a 1-5 scale, Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac continues to embrace this "extrodinary time" with professionality and love for our students.
"On Friday my husband had Remote Learning success (or lack thereof) discussions with some dads whose children attend 2 other OC Catholic Schools and one whose kids attend a non-religious Private School about Remote Learning now that the school year is wrapping up. My husband expressed our sincere satisfaction with SJDL and the Remote Learning Program. He shared how seamless it was - particularly for our 7th grader - who only needed to adjust to the teaching platform as everything else was fully operational and in process. Our seventh grader just handled it all herself. We have not been involved in her Remote Learning in any way, shape or form. He added that GoogleClassroom was new for us to learn and facilitate with our Kindergartener, however, we got the hang of it easily and found it helpful to be able to see her assigned work and a learning platform that allows her to receive material as well as complete and upload assignments."
