Educational Project of the Company of Mary Schools

Central to the overall direction and planning of school programs is the Educational Project of the Company of Mary. This document, encompassing over 400 years of educational practice originating with the foundress of the school, Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac, ensures that our school continues the mandate of Maintaining the Flame, Extending a Hand and Fulfilling Your Name.

Although Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac authored an educational plan in the early part of the 17th Century, her vision of education is completely relevant to educational planning in today’s world. Seeking a “whole-child” experience to learning, she enveloped an individualized learning approach that focuses on the ability to apply relevant skills aligned to contemporary needs. Always reaching for higher achievements and challenging each student to understand themselves is essential to the educational mission.

The Educational Project of the Company of Mary will continue to drive our school as it evolves to the demands of our ever-changing world. We are blessed to have such a visionary as our foundress and will remain steadfast to the fidelity of Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac’s plan for the fulfillment of her educational mission.
